Bizbe is an AI-native brokerage that helps people buy and sell Main Street businesses. This policy covers personal information we handle when you visit our website, create an account, list or browse a business, communicate with us, or otherwise use the Services.

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

• Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, business name, and login credentials.
• Business and listing information: financial figures, documents, descriptions, and other materials you submit when listing or evaluating a business.
• Buyer profile information: your acquisition criteria, budget, experience, and qualification details.
• Communications: messages, support requests, and any information you share when you contact us or other users through the platform.
• Payment information: billing details processed by our third-party payment providers (we do not store full card numbers).

Information we collect automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used (see "Cookies & similar technologies" below).

Information from third parties

4. Text messages & SMS

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your use of the platform, such as account alerts, transaction updates, and other service notifications. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts will not affect non-SMS communications about your account.

We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. No mobile opt-in data is sold.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your settings, measure performance, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services function.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below.

California residents (under the CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Note that we do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain business records.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. International users & data processing

Bizbe is based in the United States, and we store information in data centers located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Bizbe also maintains an office in Mexico. Employees in that office may access and process personal information on a limited, temporary basis for purposes such as analysis and support. Any such access occurs only on company devices that Bizbe manages and secures, and remains subject to this Privacy Policy and our confidentiality and security obligations.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
